DANCE WORKSHOPS

BEGINNERS

No dance experience necessary. For those with 2 or fewer years dance training.

Practice your musical theatre skills! Learn a group dance set to music from a well known musical. The choreography will require some acting as well as dancing, meaning students will learn to combine the two into a spectacular number. This number will then be performed at the showcase. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to get into musical theatre and maximise their chances in a dance audition.

INTERMEDIATE

For students with more than 3 or more years of dance training or experience.

PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP

Workshop run by director, actor and writer Belinda Campbell with assistance from dance teacher and choreographer Anita Zwart. Explore your piece and see your work, and the work of others, lifted to new heights. Suitable for performers with some experience.

SHOWCASE

At the end of the week, all the classes are invited to share their work with a small audience. Drama workshops will improvise a theatre game each, and performance workshop participants will present their individual performance item.
